Margie L. White (nee Stellon), age 82, late of Lockport, Illinois passed away peacefully, Friday March 23, 2018 surrounded by her loving children.

Margie L. White (nee Stellon), age 82, late of Lockport, Illinois passed away peacefully, Friday March 23, 2018 surrounded by her loving children.

Born in Joliet, she lived in Lockport for many years before moving to Laurie, Missouri. with her husband where they enjoyed 15 years of lake living, before moving back to Lockport in 2009.

Retired from Joliet Boiler after many years of service, she was past president and member of the Lockport VFW #5788 Ladies Auxiliary. Margie was a master quilter and loved to sew quilts for both family and friends. She was a member of the Draggin’ Thread Quilt Guild in Laurie.

She was preceded in death her husband Donald C. White; her parents Henry and Margaret (Cornale) Stellon.

She is survived by her children, Jack (Jessie Miller) White, Donna Pope and Patricia (Michael) Surman; seven grandchildren; two great grandsons and one great – great granddaughter and her sister Janet Mackay. Several nephews and nieces also survive.
