An Urbana, Missouri man appears to be the first drowning of the year on Lake of the Ozarks.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol drowning report, Jason N. Charlton fell out of the boat he was operating near the 91 mile marker of the lake in Benton County on the afternoon of March 7, 2018.
The incident report indicated the 44-year-old was not wearing a lifejacket. He was in a 1999 Sea Ark.
The circumstances of Charlton’s fall out of the vessel are unknown.
