Wayne Moulder, age 90, of Montreal, Missouri, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Missouri.
Wayne was born May 15, 1927 in Linn Creek, Missouri. He was the son of Roscoe and Elsie (Kays) Moulder. Wayne accepted Christ as his savior and baptized at an early age. He later served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II and Japan.
On May-21, 1955, in Macks Creek at the First Baptist Church, Wayne was united in marriage to Adra Corinne Edwards who preceded him in death March 19, 2013. They had shared 58 years together at the time of Adra’s death.
Wayne was a proud lifetime resident of Camden County, witnessing firsthand all the changes and progress of Lake of the Ozarks and surrounding communities. His deep family roots in the area include his great–grandfather George Moulder, who served the community as a judge for a time, and who also had a hand in mapping out the roads in Camden County.
Wayne worked as a maintenance crew leader for MODOT, retiring after 30 years of service, and served as a deputy with the Camden County Sheriff's Department for a time He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed his days spent hunting, fishing and horseback riding. He also enjoyed playing his banjo, traveling and collecting antiques.
Wayne is survived by his daughters, Marilyn Kaye Moulder of Camdenton, Missouri his sons, Michael Wayne Moulder of Chipley, Florida and Mark Lee Moulder and wife, Julia, of Chipley, Florida; and daughter Katie Burns of Lebanon, Missouri; one granddaughter, Leighanne Moulder and one great-granddaughter, Rosaleigh Simmons; along with numerous relatives and friends.
Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Corinne Moulder; his parents Rosoe and Elsie Moulder; his brother Joe Moulder; and his sisters Thelma Hughes, Louise Selle, and Imogene Kendrick.
Services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Roach Union Electric Cemetery in Roach, Missouri.
