The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of February 19 - March 2, 2018.  Scheduled maintenance activities will not take place on Monday, February 19, in observance of the President’s Day Holiday. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.                  

All Counties

Daylight Hours

Mowing, striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continue in various locations.  Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road. 

Camden County

Daylight Hours/Overnight Hours

Route 54 Outer Road over Linn Creek – Bridge replacement continues. One lane will be open through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in early July. 

Route A between Route 54 and Route 7 – Edge rut repair will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, March 2.  One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Miller County

Daylight Hours

Route 17 between Route 52 and Route 54 in Cole County – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder widening continues.
• Excavation work continues the week of February 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

•Project is scheduled for completion in November. 

Route 42 between Route A and Mace Lane – Brush cutting will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, March 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route 87 between Industrial Drive and Manor Drive – Roadside work will take place Wednesday, February 28 through Thursday, March 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route H between Route 17 and Marys Home Road– Roadway resurfacing and shoulder widening continues. 
• Excavation work continues the week of February 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

• Project is scheduled for completion in November.

Route FF between County Line Road and Shikles Road in Cole County – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, February 26 through Wednesday, February 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Morgan County
Daylight Hours

Route J between Route 5 and Route 135 – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, March 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route T between Route 52 and Route 135 – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, February 23. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route W between Route Y and Seals Road – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, February 23. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Boone County

Daylight Hours

Route B between Business Loop 70 and Brown Station Road – Sidewalk improvements continue. Occasional lane closures are possible in the work area. The project is expected to be complete in June. 

Callaway County

Daylight/Overnight Hours

Route 54 Bridge Improvements:

· Route 54 over Richland Creek, west of County Road 210

· Route 54 over the Ozark Valley Railroad, west of Bluff Street

· Route 54 over Business Route 54, west of County Road 201

Traffic impacts include:

•Eastbound and westbound Route 54 traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction between Route HH and County Road 114. Route 54 traffic is head to head in the westbound lanes and separated by concrete barriers. •Eastbound Route 54 traffic is switched to the passing lane of westbound Route 54 via temporary median crossovers, and westbound Route 54 traffic is using the driving lane of westbound Route 54. •The Business Route 54 on-ramp to eastbound Route 54 in Fulton is closed. •The westbound Route 54 off-ramp to Business Route 54 in Fulton is closed as are the Route 54 median crossovers at Callaway County Roads 210, 114 and 201. All of the traffic impacts will be in place until late May.

Route D between Route 94 and Route O – Brush cutting will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, March, 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route WW west of County Road 259 – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Wednesday, February 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Cole County

Route 17 between Route 54 and Route 52 in Miller County – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder widening continues.
• Excavation work continues the week of February 19. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

• Project is scheduled for completion in November.

Route FF between Shikles Road and Spring Garden Road in Miller County – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, February 23. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Cooper County

Route 87 between Eleventh Street and Hail Ridge Court – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, February 23. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route 98 between Route 87 and Route 179 – Brush cutting will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, March 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route D between Route 87 and Route O in Moniteau County – Edge rut repair will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, February 23.  One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Crawford County

Daylight Hours

Route 8 at Whittenburg Creek, west of Route TT – Roadside maintenance continues.  Occasional lane closures are possible in the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in May.

Route 8 at Courtois Creek, east of Feigenbaum Road – Roadside maintenance continues.  Occasional lane closures are possible in the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in May.

Route 8 between Route 19 and Route Y – Brush cutting will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, March 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route 19 between Route 8 and Route TT – Brush cutting will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, March 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route 49 between Route 19 and Route Y in Iron County – Edge rut repair will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, March 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route V between Route 49 and Route Y – Brush cutting will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, March 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route UU between Interstate 44 and Argo Road – Brush cutting will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, February 23. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Dent County

Route 19 between Route 68 and Route TT– Brush cutting will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, March 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Gasconade County

Daylight Hours

Route 100 between Route J and Coles Creek Road – Flood repair continues. Occasional lane closures are possible in the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-March. 

Howard County

Route 124 between Route 240 and Route H – Brush cutting will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, February 23. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route Y between Route 124 and County Road 138 – Brush cutting will take place Thursday, February 22 through Friday, March 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route Z over Bartlett Creek, east of County Road 341 - Bridge maintenance will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, February 23. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Laclede County

Daylight Hours

Route 32 between Route Z and Universal Drive – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, February 23. The road will be closed from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day.  Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.

Route 32 between Route Z and Universal Drive – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, February 26 through Friday, March 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route 32 between Route N and Route Z – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, March 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route Y over Interstate 44 – Bridge maintenance will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, March 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Maries County

Daylight Hours

Route 63 over the Gasconade River, north of Route A – Flood repair work continues.  Occasional lane closures are possible in the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in early March.  

Route JJ between Route T and County Road 205 – Tree limb removal will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, March 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Moniteau County

Route 50 between Route 87 and Pam Jones Road – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, March 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route D between Route O and Route 87 in Cooper County – Edge rut repair will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, February 23.  One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route E between Route 50 and Route W – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, February 23. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route Y between Route 179 and Garrett Road – Tree cutting will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, March 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Osage County

Route T between Route 63 and Route AA – Brush cutting will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, March 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Phelps County

Washington County

Route E between Route 47 and Route CC – Brush cutting will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, February 23. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route CC between Route E and Cole Road in St. Francois County – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, February 23. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
