A Nixa man was seriously injured in Camden County late Saturday afternoon after being ejected from the pickup he was driving on Highway 5.
Ian E. Heath, 40, was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital, then transferred to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Heath was not wearing a seatbelt. The 2001 Ford Ranger he was driving south on Highway 5 went off the left side of the roadway 691 feet north of Highway 7 shortly before 4:30 p.m. February 10, 2018, the report states. The pickup overturned and came to rest on its wheels.
