While most of us are warm and secure in our offices, outdoor work by city of Osage Beach employees continues.
Public Works Department employees have been busy extending about 800 linear feet of sanitary sewer to the Osage Beach RV Park on Campground Road of Highway 42 where it will serve 90 RV spaces and five cabins.
Public Works Director Nick Edelman said the RV Park uses a gravity collection system to its lagoon, and it will still be in use after the project is finished -- but it will discharge into a pump station instead of the lagoon. The entire park will be serviced.
The city has budgeted $35,000 for the sewer extension.
The city is also extending sewer down Antioch Lane off of Highway 42.
