Daybreak Rotarians will host the 22nd annual Winterfest February 24 at Tan-Tar-A Resort.
Winterfest has become a signature yearly event, and one that hundreds of people look forward to each year. Not only because the event is such fun with its silent and live auction, delicious food, and music by the iBerry’s, but because it is a party with a purpose. This year’s theme is “Back to the Beach/Margaritaville” and costumes are encouraged but not required. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Individual tickets are $60.
Daybreak Rotary gives to more than 40 lake area charities each year with funds from Winterfest and the annual car raffle, which is held each spring. Over $600,000 has been raised from these two special events, all for lake area charities including Kids’ Harbor, Citizens Against Domestic Violence, Hope House, Lamb House, Medical Missions for Christ, Wonderland Camp, Lake Area Industries and many, many more!
Major sponsors include Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks, , mPix, Redhead Lakeside Grill and Shawnee Bluff Winery are already on board at the major sponsor level.
