Larry Dean Helton, age 77, of Ulman passed away on Thursday, January 18 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.  He was born in Ulman on July 13, 1940, son of the late Guy and Grace (Lupardus) Helton.   
Larry was a farmer in the Ulman area for many years and was a proud member of the NRA and Missouri Pork Association.  He was baptized at the Ulman Christian Church.  
He is survived by two daughters, Dawn Blalock and husband Randy of Eldon and Deitra Brouk and husband Bill of Ulman; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Darin Dean Helton; three brothers, Paul, Lloyd, and Lohman Helton; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.  
Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 22, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.  Bro. Kevin Blackburn will officiate.  Interment will be held in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Tuscumbia.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, at the funeral home.
