The Miller County Prosecuting Attorney's Office is seeking revocation of Lisa Marie Ruiz' bond in the original case based upon the most recent incident, according to a press release from the Eldon Police Department issued January 19.

An Eldon woman has been charged for felony drug possession while being out on bond on another drug charge stemming from an investigation this past fall.

The Miller County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is seeking revocation of Lisa Marie Ruiz’ bond in the original case based upon the most recent incident, according to a press release from the Eldon Police Department issued January 19.

On January 17, 2018, in the City of Eldon, Eldon police officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Eldon Ave. and North Street, the press release stated. Granted consent to search the vehicle by the driver, a controlled substance was reportedly discovered by officers, and Ruiz was arrested.

The Miller County Prosecutor subsequently charged Ruiz with felony possession of a controlled substance. A warrant was issued by the Miller County Associate Circuit Court and bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety.

Ruiz was previously charged in September 2017 in Miller County with possession of a controlled substance after an earlier Eldon investigation.
