Dennis Aaron Stoufer, age 70, of Liberty, Missouri, formerly of Macks Creek, passed away Wednesday, January 17 at North Hospice Care in Kansas City, Missouri.
Dennis was born June 2, 1947 in San Bernardino, California. He was the son of Charles A.H. Stoufer and Mary V. Thompson.
On December 24th, 1966 in Macks Creek, Missouri, Dennis was united in marriage to Barbara Stoner. They had shared 51 loving years together as husband and wife at the time of his death.
Dennis had a long spanning career in sales with several national food companies including; Spea’s Apple Juice, Heinz, and Florida National Orange Juice. Throughout his sales career, Dennis established many friendships and had continued to stay in touch with many of his old business friends. In recent years, Dennis enjoyed spending days outdoors playing a round of golf or trying his luck at fishing.
Dennis was an active member and Deacon of Reach Out Missionary Baptist Church in Blue Spring, Missouri. He was saved November 30th, 1979.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Barbara Stoufer; his son, Travis Gleason Stoufer and wife, Krista Lynn Stoufer, of Liberty, Missouri; his daughter Mary Denise Stoufer-Pottorf of Hawaii; three grandchildren, Tana Sue Pottorf, Aaron Joseph Stoufer, Wyatt Gleason Stoufer; his close nephew Christopher Green; sisters: Cathy Foltz and Tamara MacDonald; along with several other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his son Aaron Eldon Stoufer; sister Virginia Ann Stoufer; and parents Charles A.H. Stoufer and Mary Virginia Stoufer.

Services will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Macks Creek, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 2:00-3:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Parrack Grove Cemetery.
