A Kaiser woman suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
Mariah Adams, 23, was a passenger in a 2002 Ford F-150 being driven by Mathew Plumley, 19, when the vehicle was struck in the rear while slowing to make a turn off of Highway 42. The 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix that struck them was being driven by Chase White, 28.
Neither Plumley nor White were injured in the accident. Adams was transported from the scene by ambulance, and was taken to Lake Regional for treatment.
The Pontiac suffered extensive damage and was towed from the scene. The Ford suffered moderate damage, and was driven from the scene. The report indicates that Adams and Chase were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
