A Rocky Mount man was injured when the SUV he was driving in Miller County Tuesday afternoon ran off the roadway.

A Rocky Mount man was injured when the SUV he was driving in Miller County Tuesday afternoon ran off the roadway.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Ralph S. Imler, 50, suffered moderate injuries after his vehicle struck a tree on Route W, about 0.25 mile south of Home Place Road shortly before 2:30 p.m. December 26, 2017.

Imler was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the crash report.

He was arrested at 3:02 p.m. for driving while intoxicated - prior offender, careless and imprudent driving involving a crash, no insurance and no seatbelt. He was released for medical treatment.

Imler was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.

The crash report indicated the 1999 Dodge Durango was totaled.
