A Brumley postal carrier has been charged with DWI, reportedly while delivering mail.

According to a press release from the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a report Friday, December 22, 2017 that a postal carrier in the Brumley area was possibly driving while intoxicated. The report indicated that Thomas Greschner, 49, was out delivering mail on his route.

The deputy who responded to the area located Greschner operating his postal vehicle. The deputy initiated a traffic stop, and after investigation, Greschner was arrested for DWI and taken to the Miller County Adult Detention Center.

Issued a summons for a Class B Misdemeanor DWI, he was released with a court date.
