A teenager from Roach injured in a one-car accident early Friday morning was not discovered for nearly seven hours.

A teenager from Roach injured in a one-car accident early Friday morning was not discovered for nearly seven hours.

Bailey N. Bowles, 18, suffered injuries described as serious in the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. The accident occurred around 1 a.m. December 22, 2017, but the report indicates she and the vehicle she was in were not located until approximately 7:50 a.m.

Bowles was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.

According to the crash report, the 2004 Ford Taurus she was driving south on Koehler Drive in Camden County went off the left side of the roadway at Deer Ridge road and struck a tree.

The report indicated she was wearing a seatbelt. The car was extensively damaged.
