A Sedalia man was arrested after a minor-injury crash in Morgan County Thursday evening, wrecking a minivan.

A Sedalia man was arrested after a minor-injury crash in Morgan County Thursday evening, wrecking a minivan.

Thomas C. Tallent, 53, was arrested at 7:35 p.m. December 21 by a state trooper for driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent involving an accident and no valid operators license. Tallent was released on summons. 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report Tallent was driving a 2000 Nissan Quest east on Highway 52 when the minvan went off the left side of the roadway and overturned about 0.25 mile west of Route AA shortly after 7 p.m.

Tallent was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.

The MSHP notes that an arrest is an accusation not evidence of guilt, and evidence in support of any charges that may be filed must be presented before a court to determine guilt or innocence.
