Remember a time when you were young and wanted to give your parents or grandparents a gift but didn't have any money?

Perhaps you recall a time when friends made ornaments or other Christmas crafts but you didn't have the supplies, ideas or perhaps the talent?

Love a hot breakfast but sometimes don't find the time to make it happen?

The people at West Lake Christian Church on O Road in Laurie helped fulfill those desires for anyone in the community who stopped in on Saturday, December 9. Nearly 150 adults came to enjoy a free sausage and biscuits breakfast and chat over coffee.

The children and others who wished could stop at any or all of the various tables where supplies and willing hands waited to assist in making a Christmas ornament of other holiday craft to take home.
