Santa’s workshop at the Child Advocacy Council Thrift Store is running low on toys. With 75 families left to adopt, this is a big concern.

Child Advocacy has completely run out of Legos – Star Wars and Minecraft Legos are being requested. Also needed are Nerf, Shopkins and Super Hero items, and gifts for teens – perfume, cologne, body wash sets, wallets, ear buds, music gift cards, etc.

New clothing is also needed. There are many children needing warm coats, hats and gloves and other clothing. Large sized clothing would be especially appreciated.

If you would like to adopt a family or make a donation of toys, clothing or a cash contribution, contact Monica at 573-346-0003 or stop by the Child Advocacy Thrift Store, 77 Dawson Road, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Thrift Store employees and volunteers will be working on helping families and children right up until Christmas Day.
