SUV collided with rear of Freightliner at Carroll Cut Thru, according to report.
A Macks Creek woman was killed in a collision with a Freightliner early Thursday evening in Camden County.
Bethany A. Wall, 25, was pronounced deceased at 5:44 p.m. December 14, 2017 by medical examiner Crystal K. Lloyd. The crash occurred around 5:18 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the 2017 Dodge Journey driven by Wall was westbound on US Highway 54 east of Carroll Cut Thru when the SUV reportedly failed to slow behind a westbound 2005 Freightliner driven by Charles D. Ferraro, 42, of Humansville, Mo. The SUV struck the rear of the truck.
The report indicated Wall was wearing a seatbelt and the SUV was totaled.
The Freightliner was moderately damaged and Ferraro was uninjured.
This was MSHP Troop F region’s fourth fatality for December and its 56th for 2017.
The Camden County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
