The accident occurred on Highway 52 about 2,376 feet east of Brown Road around 2:25 p.m. Nov. 30.

Three Versailles residents were injured after the passenger van they were riding in on Highway 52 in Miller County was rear-ended Thursday afternoon.

Royce Cornelius, 58, Ernest C. Trammell, 46, and Kardene K. Watkins, 42, all received injuries described as minor in the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. They were taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.

The accident occurred on Highway 52 about 2,376 feet east of Brown Road around 2:25 p.m. Nov. 30.

According to the crash report, the westbound 2004 GMC Savana the men were passengers in came up behind slow-moving farm equipment and slowed down. The driver of a westbound 2011 Ford Ranger reportedly failed to observe the van slowing and struck the rear of the van.

Theodore H. Roberts, 83, of Tuscumbia was the driver of the pickup truck. Elbert L. Webb, 41, of Gravois Mills was the driver of the van.

Both vehicles reportedly received moderate damage.

The crash report also indicated that the two drivers were wearing seatbelts; the passengers who were injured were not.
