A Sunrise Beach man was arrested earlier this week by the Camdenton Police Department for allegedly trafficking drugs, according to a press release from CPD.

A Sunrise Beach man was arrested earlier this week by the Camdenton Police Department for allegedly trafficking drugs, according to a press release from CPD. 

Jeffrey C. Allen, described as a 35-year-old white male, was detained by officers at approximately 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, 2017, after allegedly admitting to possessing illegal contraband in his vehicle. 

According to the release, Allen was known by officers to have several active warrants. A search of the vehicle reportedly produced a large quantity of methamphetamine, pills and drug paraphernalia. 

Allen was transported to the Camden County Detention Center, charged with trafficking drugs, three counts of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful distribution of over the counter methamphetamine precursor drugs and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Bond was set at $25,000 cash only.
