A California, Mo. man was arrested for alleged distribution of a controlled substance last week following a traffic stop on US-54 near Mt. Pleasant, according to a press release from Miller County Sheriff Louie Gregoire.

A California, Mo. man was arrested for alleged distribution of a controlled substance last week following a traffic stop on US-54 near Mt. Pleasant, according to a press release from Miller County Sheriff Louie Gregoire. 

On Wednesday, November 22, 2017, Kendal Stark was arrested after suspected methamphetamine was located in the vehicle he was operating. 

Stark is currently being held on $100,000 bond at the Miller County Jail. At the time of his arrest, Stark had four outstanding warrants out of Camden and Moniteau counties for distribution of a controlled substance and felon in possession of a firearm, according to the release. 

According to CaseNet, Stark is charged with three felonies in Camden County and three felonies in Moniteau County related to drug possession and distribution. Those cases are still pending. 

MCSO reminds the public that Stark is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
