A 19-year-old Tuscumbia teen suffered injuries described as serious Tuesday night after her vehicle rolled down an embankment and collided with a tree, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

A 19-year-old Tuscumbia teen suffered injuries described as serious Tuesday night after her vehicle rolled down an embankment and collided with a tree, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. 

April A. Schoenfield was driving a 1998 Ford F150 at approximately 7:43 p.m. on November 14, 2017 and traveling westbound on Woods Road, near Saline Road, in Miller County when the crash occurred. 

According to the report, the driver was unable to negotiate a 90-degree turn causing the vehicle to travel off the roadway, where it rolled down an embankment, collided with a tree and came to a rest. 

Schoenfield, listed without a seat belt, was transported by Miller County EMS to Capital Region Hospital. The vehicle was listed as totaled. 

MSHP was assisted by the Miller County Sheriff's Office.
