According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a northbound Honda Civic on Route C crossed the centerline as it was going around a curve. The car went into oncoming traffic, the report states, and overcorrected. The vehicle went off the left side of the roadway and overturned.

A Jefferson City teen was injured in a one-car crash Sunday afternoon in Miller County.

Zoie B. Granato, 18, was a passenger in a 2015 Honda Civic that overturned on Route C south of Highway 42 shortly after 2:30 p.m. Nov. 12.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Taylor N. West, 18, was driving the Honda north on Route C when it crossed the centerline as it was going around a curve. The car went into oncoming traffic, the report states, and overcorrected. The vehicle went off the left side of the roadway and overturned.

Granato received injuries described as moderate and was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment. 

West was not listed with any injuries. 

Both occupants were wearing seatbelts, according to the report.

The Civic was listed with extensive damage.
