According to the report, the crash occurred as a westbound 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis slowed to make a right turn onto Mt. Carmel Road around 3:50 p.m. Oct. 29. The car was reportedly struck in the rear by a 2003 Acura MDX.

Three people received minor injuries in a collision on US 54 in Miller County Sunday afternoon. 

Marvin R. Bunch, 69, and Patricia D. Bunch, 65, of Eldon were taken by ambulance to SSM Hospital in Jefferson City for treatment of minor injuries. Gene A. Wolfe, 51, of Columbia, Mo. received injuries described as minor in the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, but refused treatment at the scene. 

All occupants of the two vehicles involved were listed as wearing seatbelts.

Both vehicles were described as totaled.
