The car travelled off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.
A pair of Camdenton teens were injured in a one-car accident Sunday afternoon in Camden County.
Marissa M. Lowe, 15, received injuries described as moderate in the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report; Jewel B. Cumper, 16, had minor injuries. Both were taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
The girls were passengers in a 2002 Chevrolet Impala that wrecked on Route J approximately 26 feet south of Osborn Road at 3:15 p.m. Oct. 29.
According to the crash report, Megan R. Whaley, 17, of Linn Creek was driving the Impala north and failed to negotiate a curve. The car travelled off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.
Whaley was not listed as being injured.
The report indicated she and Cumper were wearing seatbelts and Lowe was not.
