A Lake Ozark teen was airlifted to treatment after a one-vehicle accident in Dallas County Friday night, and two other teens were also injured.

A Lake Ozark teen was airlifted to treatment after a one-vehicle accident in Dallas County Friday night, and two other teens were also injured.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report described Alicia M. Gaunt’s injuries as minor, but indicated she was flown by Staff for Life to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach for treatment.

The 17-year-old was the driver of an eastbound  2007 Chevrolet Cobalt that slid off the end of a concrete bridge on Bower Road shortly after 9 p.m. Oct. 27, according to the crash report. The car struck an embankment and overturned. The accident occurred about two miles northeast of Urbana.

Also injured in the wreck were Makayla M. Manley, 18, of Lake Ozark and Drake A. Parsons, 16, of Urbana. Manley and Parsons were both taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital with injuries described as minor.

The crash report indicated all three teens were wearing seatbelts. The Cobalt was described as totaled.
