A home in the Brumley area was a total loss after a structure fire Sunday night. No injuries were reported from the incident.

The Brumley Fire Protection District was dispatched to a residential structure fire shortly before 11:30 p.m. Oct. 22, according to a press release from the BFPD.

Initial arriving units were faced with a fully engulfed single story residence with partial roof collapse, the press release stated. While there was the possibility of one person unaccounted for, firefighters were able to account for all residents within several minutes of arrival all residents were accounted. They were found not to be home at the time of the incident. 

Operations then switched to defensive tactics, and units cleared the scene at 2:20 a.m. Monday, Oct. 23.

Miller County Dispatch, Tuscumbia Fire, Iberia Fire, Osage Beach Fire, Miller County Ambulance and Miller County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the incident.
