In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Outback Steakhouse in Osage Beach will be collecting donations in exchange for a free appetizer on Oct. 24.

These items will be donated to Citizens Against Domestic Violence, a 28-bed shelter located in Camdenton, serving victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in the Lake area.

CADV is in immediate need of paper towels, HE laundry detergent and toilet paper. Other basic needs include: women’s undergarments, school clothing in all sizes, baby soap and shampoo, diapers (sizes 4-6), white trash bags, large black trash bags, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, feminine hygiene products, gallon-sized freezer bags, dishwasher detergent pods, dish soap, hand soap, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and gift certificates to local grocery stores as well as Wal-Mart or gas cards.
