A Brumley woman and Lake Ozark man suffered injuries described as moderate and were transported by private conveyance to Lake Regional Hospital following a one-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Miller County.

A Brumley woman and Lake Ozark man suffered injuries described as moderate and were transported by private conveyance to Lake Regional Hospital following a one-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Miller County. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Mary J Steele, 32, of Brumley, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer with Joshua J. Jinks, 30, of Lake Ozark, as a passenger on eastbound U.S. 54, roughly 2,500-feet west of Abbott Road when the crash occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. on October 13, 2017. 

"Crash occurred as vehicle travelled off the right side of the roadway, down an embankment and struck a tree," the report stated. 

Steele was listed as wearing a seat belt while Jinks was not. The vehicle was listed with extensive damage.
