A 65-year-old Versailles man suffered injuries described as moderate after pulling into the path of another vehicle and being struck on the driver's side Tuesday morning in Morgan County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

A 65-year-old Versailles man suffered injuries described as moderate after pulling into the path of another vehicle and being struck on the driver's side Tuesday morning in Morgan County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. 

Brady O. Shoemaker, listed as wearing a seat belt, was transported by EMS to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach following the crash that occurred at approximately 9:56 a.m. on October 3, 2017 on Route D southbound at Route BB. 

Shoemaker was driving a 2011 GMC Canyon pickup truck eastbound when the vehicle pulled into the path of a 2007 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck being driven southbound by 57-year-old Stephen P. Lehman, also of Versailles. 

According to the report, Shoemaker's vehicle was struck on the driver's side. Lehman, also listed as wearing a seat belt, did not have any reported injuries. 

Both vehicles were listed as totaled.
