Polly was born and raised in Camdenton, enjoying the many Lake activities, family, and friends. She now lives in Columbia with her husband and three children.

Lake native Polly Drover Conner will be signing her newly released cookbook, From Freezer to Table, at Country Crossroads 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30.

Swing by to say hello and grab a sample from one of the book’s recipes. From Freezer to Table, co-authored by Polly and her friend Rachel Tiemeyer, is the ultimate guidebook for transforming the way your family cooks, eats, and freezes.

The chapters are packed with freezer cooking basics, practical tips for planning Freezer Cooking Parties or starting Freezer Clubs, and plenty of motivation and tools to make freezer cooking second nature.

Look forward to meeting Polly as she shows you her beautifully photographed, 200+ pages cookbook packed with delicious, family-friendly recipes.

“We know that freezer meals can taste just as good as a fresh meal when prepared correctly. And we know that they can be full of vibrant color and complex flavors too. Every recipe in the book is one that we are proud of and would make again and again,” said Conner.

Freezer cooking will help you reclaim your kitchen from processed foods, while simultaneously saving your wallet, your waistline, and your time. With a freezer full of the easy dishes in this book, you can enjoy delicious, stress-free meals around the table with those you love, even on your busiest days.

All of the recipes are:

•Made from whole food, real ingredients. It’s impossible to find that in the freezer aisle.

•Simple, approachable, and doable for the average cook. No complex instructions or ingredients.

•Can be made fresh or frozen for later. Directions for both methods are included in every recipe.

•Delicious! Most are kid-friendly, too.

•Beautifully photographed.

"This is the perfect time to begin planning meals for the coming holiday season," emphasizes Selynn Barbour, Country Crossroads owner. "This cookbook inspires with new recipes, healthy ingredients in an easy to prepare format. It will also make an amazingly thoughtful and useful gift for your friend or family member."
