Williams received injuries described as moderate and was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.

A Camdenton woman was injured after swerving her vehicle to avoid a deer in the roadway.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a 2010 Ford Escape southbound on Owen Point Road in Camden County served to avoid a deer and went off the left side of the roadway 913 feet north of Irish Hill Drive around 8 p.m. Sept. 24. The SUV - driven by Cheryl L. Williams, 71 - went down an embankment and struck a tree.

Williams received injuries described as moderate and was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment. 

The report indicated Williams was wearing a seatbelt. The Escape was described as totaled.
