A 19-year-old Olean, Mo., teen was arrested early Sunday morning following a one-vehicle crash in Miller County that sent both occupants to the hospital.

A 19-year-old Olean, Mo., teen was arrested early Sunday morning following a one-vehicle crash in Miller County that sent both occupants to the hospital. 

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol crash and arrest reports, Zachary T. Wine, 19, was arrested at approximately 1:34 a.m. on September 24, 2017 and charged with vehicular assault - DWI and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway. He was released on citations. 

The crash occurred roughly an hour earlier at 12:35 a.m. on Butterfield Stage Road, approximately .5 miles east of Olean. 

Wine was driving a 2000 Ford F150 eastbound with passenger Steven B. Wine, 31, also of Olean, when the vehicle drove off the left side of the road and struck a tree. 

Zachary Wine was listed with moderate injuries while Steven Wine was listed with minor injuries. Both were transported by Miller County EMS to St. Mary's Hospital. 

Neither were listed with wearing a seat belt. The vehicle was listed with extensive damage.
