A Jefferson City man was airlifted to treatment following a motorcycle accident in Miller County early Thursday morning.

Jonathan W. Williamson, 40, suffered injuries described as serious in the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. He was flown by Staff for Life to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment. 

According to the report, Williamson was not wearing a helmet while driving a 1998 Harley Davidson east on Highway 52.

His passenger - Ruby R. Dwyer, 37, of Eldon - was wearing a helmet. She received minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.
