Van Lant has been with the district for 21 years and is a secretary at Lake Career & Technical Center (LCTC). She was nominated by Sherry Marose, communication arts teacher at LCTC, along with LCTC Director Jackie Jenkins.

Camdenton R-III School District employee Deb Van Lant was recognized for receiving the September Classified Employee of the Month during the regular school board meeting on Sept. 11.

Van Lant has been with the district for 21 years and is a secretary at Lake Career & Technical Center (LCTC). She was nominated by Sherry Marose, communication arts teacher at LCTC, along with LCTC Director Jackie Jenkins.

Marose states in her nomination, “Deb is always cheerful and smiling. She is always willing to assist in any way. Miss Deb is the ‘glue’ that hold everything and everyone together.” Jenkins states in her nomination, “I believe underneath she wears an ‘S’ for Superwoman! Deb's calming demeanor, even in the midst of all the everyday rushes, is admirable. She is well respected by all the staff and faculty of LCTC. Deb is thoughtful of others and shows a true sense of caring for our students.”
