A 25-year old Sedalia man was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital following a two-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning in Morgan County.

A 25-year old Sedalia man was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital following a two-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning in Morgan County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. 

At approximately 7:14 a.m. on September 19, 2017, Garret W. Thompson was driving a 2004 Ford Ranger eastbound on US-50, roughly .6 miles east of Potters Ford Road, when the vehicle was struck in the rear as it slowed for a left. The second vehicle, a 2007 Toyota Solara, was being driven eastbound by 25-year-old Manuel Estrada, also of Sedalia, according to the report. 

Thompson suffered injuries described as minor and was transported via ambulance to Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia. Estrada was not listed with any injuries. Neither driver were listed with seat belts. 

The Ford was listed with extensive damage while the Toyota was listed as totaled, according to the report.
