Wanted for questioning in reference to several burglaries in the Mount Pleasant area east of Eldon, Dwyer was interviewed by Miller County detectives and reportedly confessed to at least one burglary during the interview.

The Miller County Sheriff’s Office is reporting an arrest in a burglary in the Mount Pleasant area of the county.

According to a press release from the MCSO, deputies arrested Joseph Dwyer, 25, of Eldon for burglary on Sept. 11. 

Wanted for questioning in reference to several burglaries in the Mount Pleasant area east of Eldon, Dwyer was interviewed by Miller County detectives and reportedly confessed to at least one burglary during the interview.

Dwyer has been charged with one count of second degree burglary, a Class D felony, and one count of stealing, a Class A misdemeanor. 

Dwyer is currently being held at the Miller County Adult Detention Center with a $25,000 bond.

A case review has been scheduled for Oct. 4.
