Duncan was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina south on Lowell William Road around 7:40 p.m. Sept. 10 when the car crossed the center of the roadway north of Route V and ran off the right side of the road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. The vehicle overturned.

A Montreal man was arrested for driving while on drugs following a single-vehicle wreck Sunday evening in Camden County.

Ryan P. Duncan, 25, was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina south on Lowell William Road around 7:40 p.m. Sept. 10 when the car crossed the center of the roadway north of Route V and ran off the right side of the road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. The vehicle overturned.

Duncan received injuries described as moderate by the reporting trooper, and he was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.

The crash report indicated Duncan was not wearing a seatbelt. 

At 10:25 p.m., Duncan was arrested by a state trooper for DWI - drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and no seat belt.

He was taken to the Camden County jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.

The crash report described the car as totaled.
