Medical Missions for Christ Clinic has announced KYTV-Channel 3’s morning meteorologist Brandon Beck will be returning as guest emcee for the clinic’s 6th Annual Trivia Challenge fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 7.

The event starts at 5:30 p.m. in the Camdenton High School Commons Area, 662 Laker Pride Road. Doors open at 4:30. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Food and beverages are included.

Up to six people compete as a team, answering questions that cover a wide range of topics. Individuals and incomplete teams will be matched at check-in. Teams that preregister will get reserved seating.

Beck, voted the Ozarks’ Favorite TV Personality for the past 12 years in a row by 417 Magazine and Springfield News-Leader, is known for his sense of humor and down-to-earth personality. He’s a devoted Christian and popular public speaker.

“This will be Brandon’s third year emceeing Trivia Challenge,” said the clinic director Carolyn Bowling. “He’s often said he has a special place in his heart for our ministry and he helps us draw bigger crowds each year.”

Event sponsors include Catalyst Electric, McDuffey Law Firm, Missouri Foundation for Health, Lamine Baptist Association, and PlayCraft Boats. Lake Regional Hospital, The Lodge at Old Kinderhook, and Hy-Vee have contributed goods and services. Additional sponsorships are available and silent auction items are being accepted.
