An apparent hit-and-run collision injured two people Saturday night in Morgan County during a three-vehicle crash, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

An apparent hit-and-run collision injured two people Saturday night in Morgan County during a three-vehicle crash, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. 

The crash occurred at approximately 7:47 p.m. on September 9, 2017 on south MO-135, roughly one mile north of Cup Tree Road. 

An unknown vehicle with a towed unit heading northbound crossed the center line and struck a 2001 Mitsubishi Gallant being driven southbound by 34-year-old Nicholas K. Evans, of Stover, and also a 2016 Can-Am Spyder being driven southbound by 51-year-old John B. Loveland, of Sedalia. 

Loveland suffered injuries described as moderate and was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital along with a passenger in the Mitsubishi, Steven J. Karbinas, 37, of Gravois Mills, who was listed with injuries described as minor. 

Evans was not listed with any injuries. The four people identified in the collision were all listed with seat belts. 

The two identified vehicles were listed as totaled.
