Hope House assists approximately 600 families a month within the Camden and Miller counties. They help with food, clothing, and emergency aid.

Hope House, located on 40 Lakeland Road near Lake Ozark, is inviting all volunteers, donors and friends to a hotdog cookout on September 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Hope House parking lot.

Hope House assists approximately 600 families a month within the Camden and Miller counties. They help with food, clothing, and emergency aid. Hope House provides help to area youth with scholarships for school programs, camps, new backpacks, shoes and school supplies. They also provide turkeys and hams for the Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays along with everything else that is needed to have a holiday meal.

Hope House has a thrift store that is open to the general public. It is stocked by generous donations from the public. Items for sale include clothing, household goods, furniture and much more. The money that is made in the thrift store helps to supply our food pantry with Items that are not donated.

Much of the food we distribute to our clients comes from the Central and Northeast Missouri Food Bank. Donations are received from local merchants, food drives by civic groups, businesses, churches and individuals.

Hope House has many dedicated volunteers, the food pantry and thrift store are staffed by almost 100 volunteers a month. Hope House has three part time employees to manage the food pantry and thrift store. The volunteers are the foundation of Hope House.

Hope House receives no government support for its operations. Our operating expenses are supported by contributions from area churches, civic organizations and individuals.

Hope House would not survive without all of our volunteers, donors and friends.
