The Lake Ozark Fire Protection District was dispatched to report of smoke coming from a house on Northshore Resort Road which is off of W Highway about 8:47 a.m. Aug. 31.

The Lake Ozark Fire Protection District was dispatched to report of smoke coming from a house on Northshore Resort Road which is off of W Highway about 8:47 a.m. Aug. 31.

Fire units arrived on the scene and found heavy smoke coming from the structure. Fire crews made an aggressive interior attack knocking down the fire. Water supply was established by laying 600 feet of 5-inch hose to the LOFPD fireboat. The fire was marked under control at 10:45 a.m. Fire units remained on the scene until 12:38 p.m. conducting salvage and overhaul operations.

The Lake Ozark Fire District was assisted by the Osage Beach Fire District, Rocky Mount Fire District, Sunrise Beach Fire District, Eldon Fire Department, Mid County Fire Protection District and Miller County Ambulance.

The Missouri State Fire Marshal’s office was contacted to investigate the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
