When Jan Berry, retired district employee and United Methodist Church parish member, became aware of the need for clothing items for youngsters in school she spearheaded a drive to provide underwear by sponsoring “Undie Sunday.”

Mrs. Berry’s Undie Sunday fit right in with her mission to serve students as she also implemented the “Looking Good Program” in 1989 for the Camdenton School District, which is now supported by the Lake Ozark Daybreak Rotary and the United Methodist Church.

The Looking Good program supports the school with funds to help when students might need a change of clothes during the regular school day, a jacket in cold weather, or shoes for recess or PE.
