They attended three Corvette Events starting in Hannibal, Mo., followed by Olathe, Kan. and finishing up in Rogers, Ark. These events covered over 1,200 miles driven, with national and regional charities being supported.

Gary and Nancy Hollander, aka "Team Hollander Corvettes", had a busy month of August 2017. They attended three Corvette Events starting in Hannibal, Mo., followed by Olathe, Kan. and finishing up in Rogers, Ark. These events covered over 1,200 miles driven, with national and regional charities being supported.

On Aug. 5, they drove Gary's 2015 Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic (DSOM) Corvette Z06/Z07 to the 11th Annual All Corvette Show in Hannibal, hosted by the Mark Twain Corvette Club. This annual event supports the Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V.) and is well-attended. Team Hollander won the "1st Place/Best of Z06 Class - All Generations".

The following weekend, Aug. 12, 2017, they drove Nancy's 2016 Spice Red Edition Z06 to Olathe for the 6th Annual Vettes on the Plains Corvette Show, hosted by the Kansas City Corvette Association. The event is held at the Bass Pro Shops location in Olathe, and benefits the Camp Quality For Kid's With Cancer, and St. Jude Children's Hospital. Team Hollander won "1st Place/Best of Class - C7 Generation".

On Aug. 26, 2017, the 21st Annual Summer's End Corvette Show was held in Rogers, Ark., and hosted by the Northwest Arkansas Corvette Club. The event is at the Pinnacle Hills Promenade Mall, and draws participants from all over the continental United States. The event supports two local charities, Deserving, Enriched and Blessed (DEB) Project for special needs children, and the Bella Vista, Ark. Animal Shelter. Team Hollander drove their 2015 DSOM Z07 to the event and was received a "C7 Z06 Class Award".

Gary and Nancy Hollander annually attend 15-20 Corvette events across the mid-west, supporting numerous local, regional and national charities. They serve as "Goodwill Ambassadors" for Hulett Chevrolet-Buick-GMC, and are members of the Surf City Garage "Street Team". Next stops include "Corvettes on the River" in Paducah, Ky., and "Vettes, Pets, and Families" at the Bowling Green Assembly Plant, Bowling Green, Ky.
