The collision occurred when an eastbound 2005 Chevrolet Duramax driven by Timothy D. McGuire was attempting to enter Highway 5 from Spencer Creek Road.
A Camdenton teen received minor injuries in a motor vehicle collision on South Highway 5 in Camden County Wednesday morning.
Robert M. Crall, 19, sought his own medical treatment for the injuries after the accident on South MO 5 at Spencer Creek around 6:30 a.m. Aug. 30, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
The collision occurred when an eastbound 2005 Chevrolet Duramax driven by Timothy D. McGuire was attempting to enter Highway 5 from Spencer Creek Road. After stopping at the stop sign, the pickup failed to yield to the northbound 2005 Ford Ranger driven by Crall, the crash report stated. The Chevrolet crossed the path of the Ford, and Crall swerved the Ford to avoid the other vehicle. The Ford Ranger went off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch.
McGuire, 47, of Camdenton was not injured.
Both men were listed as wearing seatbelts. The report indicated the Ford Ranger had moderate damage.
