A 21-year-old Montreal man suffered serious injuries and was life-flighted to University Hospital following a one-vehicle wreck early Sunday morning in Camden County.

A 21-year-old Montreal man suffered serious injuries and was life-flighted to University Hospital following a one-vehicle wreck early Sunday morning in Camden County. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Colton J. Goldsberry was driving a 1998 Dodge Truck westbound at approximately 2:05 a.m. on August 27, 2017 while traveling on US-54, roughly .2 miles west of Bumper Hill Road when the crash occurred. 

Goldsberry, listed without a seat belt, was transported by Life Flight to the Columbia hospital. 

"Crash occurred as vehicle was traveling westbound on US-54. Vehicle crossed the center line and travelled off the left side of the roadway," according to the report. "Vehicle struck a guardrail, returned to the roadway and overturned. When vehicle overturned, driver was ejected." 

The vehicle, listed as totaled, landed on its wheels and struck the guardrail again, the report stated.
