A 78-year-old Linn Creek woman suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle crash on westbound US-54 Saturday morning in Camden County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

A 78-year-old Linn Creek woman suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle crash after striking a gate and becoming airborne on westbound US-54 Saturday morning in Camden County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. 

At approximately 10:37 a.m. on August 26, 2017, Lucy P. Abdo was driving a 2011 Honda Accord westbound roughly one mile west of Route Y when the crash occurred. 

Abdo, listed as wearing a seat belt, was transported by Camden County EMS to Lake Regional Hospital. 

"Crash occurred (as) vehicle travelled off the left side of the roadway, struck a gate, went airborne into the center of the eastbound lanes," the report stated. 

The vehicle was listed with extensive damage.
