According to a press release from the Camden County Sheriff's Office, officers from the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group and the sheriff's office went to Sparrow Court looking for Aaron Wayne Burns, 36. Upon their arrival, Burns allegedly attempted to flee officers who were nevertheless able to take him into custody without further incident, the press release stated.

UPDATE: Rae Christine Wansing, 46, of Osage Beach has been charged with felony drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond has been set at $1,000 cash only. Aaron W. Burns, 36, was arrested on two warrants – Contempt of Court and Parole Violation. He is being held with no bond.

Initial report: Multiple arrests were made Thursday after police arrived at a residence in Osage Beach to locate a man wanted on several outstanding warrants.

According to a press release from the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, officers from the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group and the sheriff’s office went to Sparrow Court looking for Aaron Wayne Burns, 36. Upon their arrival, Burns allegedly attempted to flee officers who were nevertheless able to take him into custody without further incident, the press release stated.

The residence was secured pending application and approval of a drug-related search warrant. After the warrant was issued, officers from LANEG, the sheriff’s office and the Osage Beach Police Department searched the home, seizing methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia used in the distribution and consumption of controlled substances, the press release stated.

A white male and a white female were arrested on outstanding warrants and charges related to the items found in the residence. Both were transported to the Camden County jail.
