A 54-year-old Cedar Falls, Iowa woman suffered moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital early Saturday evening following a wake incident on the Lake of the Ozarks.

A 54-year-old Cedar Falls, Iowa woman suffered moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital early Saturday evening following a wake incident on the Lake of the Ozarks, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Marine Division report. 

Anita D. Schaub was riding as a passenger in a 2009 Crownline being piloted westbound by 53-year-old Michael R. Schaub, also of Cedar Falls, at approximately 4:45 p.m. at the 7-mile marker of the Main Channel when the incident, listed as "person impacts watercraft, occurred on August 12, 2017. 

"Passenger stood up as vessel struck several large cruiser wakes causing her to fall," the MSHP report stated. 

Neither driver nor passenger were listed with safety devices. Michael Schaub was not listed with any injuries. There was no damage listed to the vessel.
