The Missouri State Highway Patrol Water Patrol Division reported a hit-and-run incident with a vessel striking fixed objects on Lake of the Ozarks Tuesday evening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol Water Patrol Division reported a hit-and-run incident with a vessel striking fixed objects on Lake of the Ozarks Tuesday evening.

Shortly before 8:30 p.m. Aug. 1, a Runabout reportedly struck the west side of a dock and a seawall at the 35 mile marker of the Osage Arm. The vessel left the scene traveling southbound, though it was described as heading northbound at the time of the collision. 

Troopers are still investigating, according to the preliminary report.

According to the report, the Runabout received extensive damage in the incident.
